Russian scientists tracking migrating eagles ran out of money after some of the birds flew to Iran and Pakistan and their SMS transmitters drew huge data roaming charges.

I remember many years ago a British friend asking me: Why would you want to drive around in a lorry all day?  I have never understood the move away from small cars in America.

Should we outlaw SUVs?

They are an enormous cause of emissions, and deadly to pedestrians? Is it time for automakers to stop selling them or cities to stop allowing them on their streets

See this guy and another hawk around the neighborhood.  Walked right past him, just a few feet away.  Got a good pic of him up close and then flying off.

Found this little guy in the garage.  Probably a rattlesnake.
